Dott.ssa Valentina Facchini

Dr. Valentina Facchini is an Orthoptist and Ophthalmology Assistant, licensed to administer AvDesk therapies in adults with visual field disorders.

Degree in Medicine by the University of Genoa and graduated in Optics, she took courses in Low Vision at the Institute for Research and Studies in Optics and Optometry in Vinci (FI), thanks to which she consolidated and acquired further skills in refraction and the choice of optical aids for visually impaired people.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science and Techniques from the Department of Education, University of Genoa.

Valentina works as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Center of the David Chiossone Foundation in Genoa.

She is involved in visual assessment and rehabilitation of visually impaired adults and has gained extensive experience in the field of optical and electronic aids for low vision.

Co-author of international scientific and popular articles, speaker at national training courses and congresses.

Collaborates on low vision research projects, particularly with the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa.

Thanks to Linari Medical’s certification, Dr. Valentina Facchini performs AvDesk rehabilitation therapy, following you personally at the outpatient clinic of the Chiossone Foundation’s Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Center.
