Vision 2025 Congress: Linari Medical Presents AvDesk Lift

Locandina congresso Low Vision 2025 Firenze

From September 9 to 11 we attended Vision 2025, the 15th International Conference of the International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation (ISLRR), held in Florence at the Palazzo dei Congressi.

We participated as sponsors and exhibitors at the exhibition area at booth 5.

It was an opportunity to meet our team, discuss your clinical and technical needs, and get an up-close look at the solutions we have developed for neuro-visual assessment and rehabilitation.

Moreover, we presente an exclusively preview of our new AvDesk Lift, an advanced device designed for rehabilitation centers and sports facilities, featuring a motorized column and remote controls.

We were be available for hands-on demonstrations and to explain the protocols that allow patients to conduct sessions at home with remote monitoring by specialists.

The scientific program of the conference is very rich: in addition to international keynotes and workshops, it includes sessions devoted to the brain–vision relationship and numerous presentations on rehabilitative technologies and approaches.

Among the highlighted presentations, we recommend the session “Low vision and the brain: function, plasticity and restoration”, featuring the presentation “Cerebral visual impairment and brain lesions” by Francesca Tinelli, a key contribution for those working in neuro-visual assessment and managing brain-related visual deficits.

In the poster section, we point out “Visual telerehabilitation in adults with low vision” (P67), a central theme for our company, which has integrated tele-rehabilitation solutions for years to extend access to therapies and maintain effective clinical follow-up. Feel free to stop by and discuss the topic with the authors: Valentina Facchini, Sven Groenhoff, and Antonella Panizzi.

We would like to thank all participants who visited us at booth 5: it was an excellent opportunity to explore potential collaborations and discuss future directions in neuro-visual rehabilitation.
