Project T.O.R.N.A.D.O.

Project co-funded under Tuscany POR CREO FESR 2014-2020 for ait purification from pollution in closed and open spaces and real-time quality detection.

S.I.DE.P. was awarded, in collaboration with major technological partners, a research and development call from the Region of Tuscany for the realization of new solutions for filtering and purifying air from pollution in both indoor and outdoor environments and real-time analysis of air quality.

The announcement of the T.O.R.N.A.D.O. (sisTem nanOtechnological depuRazioN Air inDoor Outdoor) project aims to develop filter technology applications that also use nanotechnological solutions for viral and bacterial load abatement.

It will be developed in the biennium 2020-22 and will end with the realization of 2 experimental prototypes with the ultimate goal of making this new filter technology commercial.

The total value of the project is €1,126,612.34 of which €353,422.91 is direct support.

This project makes us proud because it allows us to be able to make our small contribution to the enormous health struggle that the world has been fighting for months now.
